Horses

The girls and I (with some friends) volunteered for the Disney Give a Day, Get a Day and we had a blast. We volunteered our time at a horse farm north of here that rescues and cares for newborn foals. The morning we arrived they had just welcomed a newborn 2 hours before we arrived and we were lucky enough to watch it learning to stand and walk. We also were able to watch a horse that was only 6 days old. The farm had 125 horses and we spent time grooming them, loving them and just having fun. I have never met so many love able horses!!!!

This baby is 6 days old

This is the baby that was 2 hours old and doing very well. Sorry for the blur of the pictures, they had them behind a glass viewing area.

Emily's class at school was learning about China. They had an assignment to make a dragon head out of a cardboard box. The paper said that parents could help. This is Emily's dragon head and yes, she did do a lot of the work.
