Spring Festival

The the girls had a Spring Festival at daycare and had a great time!! Here are a few pictures to enjoy.

Forgive me for posting 2 weeks after the festival but my camera was missing for awhile but thankfully Ed found it (at work in his tools). :)

March 20th

Today marks the offical start of Spring but also my Dad's Birthday. Happy Birthday, Dad and Happy Spring!!!! We will have a cake to celebrate but I wish so much you were able to celebrate with us. I miss you, Dad and love you.

Our Artist!!

Emily has always enjoyed drawing and as her parents we thought she was very talented. Now, others feel the same way!!! Emily's artwork was selected to be on display at the mall. We are so proud of her talent and her first piece of artwork on display for everyone to see!!!

Are we crazy???

I am asking myself that question this morning..........are we crazy??? We have adopted a new puppy!!!! Welcome to our family Abby!!!!

Since we have had Meg for 11 years now we are very used to her and her lazy ways and forgot how much work a puppy is. She is very sweet and lovable and belongs to the girls. They always wished they could have seen Meg as a puppy so they are excited for our new addition.

Meg hasn't decided yet what she thinks about this new ball of fur but so far seems to be handling it okay. We hope in time they will have fun together.

Snow Day!!!!!!

When you get almost 9" of snow in Virginia what happens.........everything shuts down!!!! We officially have a snow day!!! The snow started yesterday late afternoon and kept going all night. It is the most snow this area has had in probably 10 years.

We took the girls outside to play and utilized the hill in the backyard for some fun. Ed got trash can lids since we don't have a sled but it seems to be working good.
