Michigan!!

We were very lucky this past weekend to be able to go to Michigan and visit the Donbrosky side of the family. The girls and I had never been, nor had we met much of the family. It was Grandpa Donbrosky's 89th Birthday so we went to celebrate with everyone! We drove after work on Friday and got in about 3:15 am and it was -9 with a severe wind chill. Saturday wasn't much warmer and it was snowing but that was our hope. There was a lot of snow, more than they had ever seen so they enjoyed playing but did get cold very easy. Aunt Sue and Uncle Kenny along with cousin Gracie (6) made us feel very welcome and the girls had a blast with Gracie. We can't wait to go back!!!

Discovering the snow!!

Attempting to do some sledding!

Snow Angels!!

Emily and Gracie when they discovered they are related and have the same last name! The Birthday party! There was music, kids dancing and Grandpa Donbrosky enjoying it all.

The girls had hoped to build a snowman and throw snow balls but the snow was too powedery and wouldn't stick together. Didn't slow them down from lots of fun!

I'm so glad you guys had a good time! Yeah, the Michigan weather must have been a shock to the girls!! Glad they got to make snow angels and attempt sledding though :) Who knows when Virginia will give them that chance.
