Field Trip

I was lucky a few weeks ago to go on a field trip with Emily and her class. It was a lot of fun!!! We went to the local science museum. I was responsible for 5 kids in a place that had hundreds of kids there for the day. I was surprised at how loud the bus can be and although a lot of fun and I was thrilled to spend the day with Emily I was also exhausted. I have a whole new appreciation for teachers!!!!!!

Lions, Tigers and Panda Bears!!!

Another fun event while Grandma was here to visit was a visit to the National Zoo. I must admit, it wasn't as good as the zoo in Tampa or Busch Gardens but where else can you see Panda Bears!!! We started our visit with taking the metro into DC, a first for all of us. We managed to get to the trains we needed and after 5 minutes the thrill of it for the girls was over. Either way, the day was beautiful and fun and we were exhausted after.

Skipped Generation!!!

I think the love of horses and riding skipped a generation (me)!!! During Grandma's visit she did a riding lesson with Emily and they had a blast. Grandma rode as a teenager and as the saying goes, it all comes back when you get back on. They both did great and had tons of fun!!!!

Spring Festival
